Ensure that you have all the prerequisites installed for installing sql 2005 in windows 2003 server ! you need to have windows 2003 server with SP1,.NET framework 2.0 etc.......pls refer the link for the prerequsites !http://technet.microsoft.com/hi-in/library/ms143506.aspx
